機(jī)器視覺(jué)技術(shù)是圖像獲取、分析、識(shí)別、檢測(cè)等技術(shù)的綜合。在一些不適宜人工作業(yè)的工作環(huán)境或人工視覺(jué)難以滿足高精度、高質(zhì)量要求的場(chǎng)合，常用機(jī)器視覺(jué)來(lái)代替人工視覺(jué)。

李淼表示，機(jī)器視覺(jué)強(qiáng)調(diào)實(shí)用性，要求能夠適應(yīng)工業(yè)生產(chǎn)中惡劣的環(huán)境，要有通用的工業(yè)接口，能夠由普通工作者來(lái)操作，有較高的容錯(cuò)能力和安全性，不會(huì)破壞工業(yè)產(chǎn)品，必須有較強(qiáng)的通用性和可移植性。“機(jī)器視覺(jué)就是機(jī)器的‘眼睛和大腦’。”

據(jù)介紹，機(jī)器視覺(jué)系統(tǒng)的優(yōu)點(diǎn)有：非接觸測(cè)量，對(duì)于觀測(cè)者與被觀測(cè)者都不會(huì)產(chǎn)生任何損傷，從而提高系統(tǒng)的可靠性；具有較寬的光譜響應(yīng)范圍，例如使用人眼看不見(jiàn)的紅外測(cè)量，擴(kuò)展了人眼的視覺(jué)范圍；長(zhǎng)時(shí)間穩(wěn)定工作，機(jī)器視覺(jué)可以長(zhǎng)時(shí)間地作測(cè)量、分析和識(shí)別任務(wù)。

“對(duì)機(jī)器視覺(jué)工程師來(lái)說(shuō)，不僅要具有研究數(shù)學(xué)理論和編制計(jì)算機(jī)軟件的能力，更需要光、機(jī)、電一體化的綜合能力。”基恩士公司的一位視覺(jué)部門銷售工程師表示。

解決復(fù)雜而困難的應(yīng)用

由于國(guó)內(nèi)機(jī)器視覺(jué)產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展速度明顯加快，機(jī)器視覺(jué)行業(yè)高級(jí)分析師嚴(yán)勝輝預(yù)計(jì)，國(guó)內(nèi)機(jī)器視覺(jué)發(fā)展期可持續(xù)到2020年前后，之后將進(jìn)入產(chǎn)業(yè)成熟期。

“在機(jī)器視覺(jué)的目標(biāo)跟蹤技術(shù)領(lǐng)域，要著力解決‘看得清、找得出、跟得上、打得準(zhǔn)’四個(gè)問(wèn)題。”中科院長(zhǎng)春光學(xué)精密機(jī)械與物理研究所教授朱明曾表示，機(jī)器視覺(jué)要進(jìn)一步解決的問(wèn)題還有很多。譬如，其成像技術(shù)要解決在遠(yuǎn)距離、弱目標(biāo)的情境下，即使遇到惡劣天氣，也能夠克服器件限制；目標(biāo)檢測(cè)技術(shù)要進(jìn)一步提高，能夠精準(zhǔn)檢測(cè)到各種背景下的各種目標(biāo)；目標(biāo)識(shí)別技術(shù)要進(jìn)一步提高“人工智能”和“人在回路”等。

“國(guó)內(nèi)在機(jī)器視覺(jué)產(chǎn)品研發(fā)方面雖然取得了一些成果，但與*進(jìn)機(jī)器視覺(jué)技術(shù)和設(shè)備相比還有較大差距。”韓九強(qiáng)提出，目前國(guó)內(nèi)在機(jī)器視覺(jué)產(chǎn)品研發(fā)方面主要存在技術(shù)水平較低、應(yīng)用面窄、基本處于軟硬件定制的視覺(jué)系統(tǒng)研發(fā)和應(yīng)用階段、開發(fā)成本高、效率低等問(wèn)題；在機(jī)器視覺(jué)算法研究方面，仍采用經(jīng)典的數(shù)字圖像處理算法和通用軟件編程開發(fā)，組態(tài)集成開發(fā)能力弱；在產(chǎn)品方面，擁有自主知識(shí)產(chǎn)權(quán)的機(jī)器視覺(jué)技術(shù)與系統(tǒng)產(chǎn)品較少，不利于批量生產(chǎn)和推廣。

這些不足和問(wèn)題，不僅局限了機(jī)器視覺(jué)的應(yīng)用范圍，還讓已有的技術(shù)應(yīng)用復(fù)雜而困難。北京清影機(jī)器視覺(jué)技術(shù)有限公司總曹亮認(rèn)為，目前通用的“機(jī)器視覺(jué)”多數(shù)是由人工智能計(jì)算來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)的，一種視覺(jué)對(duì)應(yīng)一種*的軟件和系統(tǒng)，完成一種固定的視覺(jué)任務(wù)，在算法和數(shù)據(jù)層面無(wú)法實(shí)現(xiàn)各視覺(jué)系統(tǒng)在機(jī)器視覺(jué)上的統(tǒng)一。而且，對(duì)于圖像內(nèi)容的理解方面，由于神經(jīng)網(wǎng)絡(luò)存在的黑箱性質(zhì)，機(jī)器無(wú)法達(dá)到令人信服的對(duì)視覺(jué)的理解要求。
