2014年3月19日在美國(guó)華盛頓PA區(qū);-Sherwood閥門公司LLC開發(fā)了一個(gè)新的Sherwood醫(yī)用氣瓶閥用于磁共振成像(MRI)環(huán)境——專門針對(duì)高容量的鋁汽缸。Sherwood醫(yī)療閥門設(shè)計(jì)使用的許多特性來自于當(dāng)前*的閥門(GV)產(chǎn)品線適用于MRI核磁共振環(huán)境。Sherwood新的GV-MRI系列閥門標(biāo)志用“MR-Conditional”標(biāo)準(zhǔn)符號(hào)用來識(shí)別它是有MRI安全認(rèn)證的。。

Sherwood Valve Offers a New Medical Cylinder Valve for MRI Environments
Washington, PA, USA; March 19, 2014 - Sherwood Valve, LLC has developed a new medical cylinder valve for use in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) environments - specifically for high capacity aluminum cylinders. The medical valve design uses many features from its current flagship Global Valve (GV) product line adapted to MRI environments. Sherwood’s new GV-MRI Series Valves are marked with the standard “MR-Conditional” symbol to identify that it is certified MRI-Safe.

The GV-MRI valve meets the ASTM F2213 requirement for a 3-Tesla magnetic resonance (MR) environment. The GV-MRI special construction utilizes materials that reduce the magnetic attraction of valve when installed on an aluminum cylinder. This provides peace of mind for hospital personnel and patients who as a result are able to maintain their accessibility to medical gases where access to medical oxygen is limited. All GV-MRI valves are certified oxygen clean and available in straight thread inlets for aluminum cylinders.
