Thomas RECORDING offers an additional xyz-manipulator for the Thomas Small  Animal Stereotaxic Instrument (SASI).  

Our high-performance low cost Multi-Manipulator is a precision-crafted versatile tool for the accurate and reproducible placement of microelectrodes, microinjection cannulas or Thomas microdrive systems in small animals.  
The  universal TREC Multi-Manipulator is designed to be mounted on the base plate rails of  the Thomas small animal stereotaxic instrument (SASI) but fits on any frame rail sizes due to a universal clamp system.  
If required, custom made  adaptations are available on request. 
All scales are oriented to be easily read. The scale lines are laser engraved, to allow the finest possible permanent marking of scales on all 3 axes.  
Precise alignment with facing vernier scales gives accurate resolution to 100 microns.  
Holders for Thomas microdrive systems are available. Electrode Manipulators are designed to manipulate stereotaxic drills, cannula insertion kits, micro injectors and other stereotaxic accessories.

The design enables two manipulators to be placed side by side with bases touching. 
Each manipulator position can be articulated independently without disturbing the other. This is because of the narrow width of the slides and strategic placement of the screw-adjusting knobs. The end of the lateral slide has a precision “V” groove and locking thread to which electrode holders and accessory equipment may be attached quickly and easily.
