In this construct, the N-terminal end of the protein is fused to GST via a short peptide linker placed between GST consisting of an optimal TEV protease target sequence that allows cleavage of GST (TEV: tobacco etch virus cysteine protease BPS Bioscience #50308). The construct also contains mutation of interest (Y220C). The recombinant protein was affinity purified.
