Water applied to electrolyte generates heat and causes it to splatter. Wear acid resistant clothing. Ventilate area well. Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Hydrogen and oxygen gases are generated in cells during normal battery operation or when on charge. (Hydrogen is flammable and oxygen supports combustion). These gases enter the air through the vent caps during battery overcharging. To avoid risk of fire or explosion, keep sparks and other sources of ignition away from the battery. Do not allow metal objects to simultaneously contact both positive and negative terminal of batteries. Ventilate area well.

　1、UPS浮充充電時(shí)，請(qǐng)用充電電壓2.275V/單格（20℃時(shí)的設(shè)定值），進(jìn)行定電壓充電或0.002CA以下的電流進(jìn)行定電流充電。溫度有0C以下或40C以上時(shí)，有必要對(duì)充電電壓進(jìn)行修正，以20C為起點(diǎn)每變化一度，單格電壓變化-3mv。
　　
　　2、循環(huán)充電時(shí)，充電電壓以2.40-2.50V/單格（20℃時(shí)的設(shè)定值），進(jìn)行定電壓電壓充電。溫度在5C以下或35℃以上進(jìn)行充電時(shí)，以20℃為起點(diǎn)，每變化一度充電電壓調(diào)整-4mv/單格。
　　
　　3、充電初期電流控制在0.25CA以下。
　　
　　4、充電量設(shè)為放電量的100-120%，但環(huán)境溫度在5C以下時(shí)，設(shè)為120-130%。
　　
　　5、溫度越低（5C以下）充電結(jié)束時(shí)間越長(zhǎng)，溫度越高（35C以上）越容易發(fā)生過充電，所以特別是在循環(huán)使用時(shí)，在5C～30C內(nèi)進(jìn)行充電較好。
　　
　　6、為防止過充電盡量安裝充電計(jì)時(shí)器，或自動(dòng)轉(zhuǎn)換成涓流式充電方式。
　　
　　7、充電時(shí)電池溫度要控制在-15C～+40C的范圍內(nèi)。

　　
　　二、關(guān)于放電
　　
　　放電時(shí)請(qǐng)將電池溫度控制在-15℃-+50℃的范圍內(nèi)。
　　
　　連續(xù)放電電流請(qǐng)控制在3CA以下（H控制在6ＣA以下）。
　　
　　放電終止電壓依電流的大小而變化，大體如下所述。注意放時(shí)，電壓不得低于下述電壓。
　　
　　放電以后請(qǐng)迅速充電。如不小心過放電之后也請(qǐng)立即充電。
