鏈脲佐菌素Streptozotocin---誘導(dǎo)動(dòng)物糖尿病模型
糖尿病是一種慢性病，當(dāng)胰腺產(chǎn)生不了足夠的胰島素或者人體無法有效地利用所產(chǎn)生的胰島素時(shí)，就會(huì)出現(xiàn)糖尿病。全-世-界有3.47億人患有糖尿病。2004年，估計(jì)有340萬人死于空腹高血糖帶來的后果。2010年的估計(jì)死亡數(shù)字與之相似。世衛(wèi)組織預(yù)測，2030年糖尿病將成為第七位主要死因。目前我國的糖尿病的發(fā)病率呈升高趨勢，但發(fā)病機(jī)理尚未完-全闡明，在預(yù)防和治療方面仍不完善，建立理想的動(dòng)物模型對進(jìn)一步研究糖尿病具有重要的意義。
迄今為止，已建立了多種建立糖尿病動(dòng)物模型的方法，主要有：(1) 手術(shù)切除胰腺；(2) 化學(xué)藥物誘導(dǎo)；(3) 自發(fā)性DM；(4) 轉(zhuǎn)基因動(dòng)物等。其中化合藥物誘導(dǎo)法中采用鏈脲佐菌素注射造模因其對組織毒性較小，動(dòng)物存活率高，所以是目前國內(nèi)外使用較多的一種制備糖尿病動(dòng)物模型的方法。
鏈脲佐菌素（英語：Streptozotocin或Streptozocin，簡稱STZ，又名鏈佐星、鏈脲霉素）是一種由鏈球菌產(chǎn)生的，對哺乳動(dòng)物胰臟中產(chǎn)生胰島素的胰島B細(xì)胞有著特異毒性的天然化合物。它能破壞胰島B細(xì)胞，大劑量可誘導(dǎo)I型糖尿病，小劑量反復(fù)注射可致II型糖尿病。
