DESCRIPTION
Wash Solution Concentrate （20X） is compatible with most
assay systems and is effective in reducing nonspecific binding
of proteins to reaction surfaces. The solution contains Tween
20, a wetting agent that minimizes nonspecific attachment of
reactants to the solid phase.
CONTENT
Wash Solution Concentrate is provided as a 20X solution , 4 x
200 mL Wash Solution Concentrate （Catalog No. 50-63-01）.
Once diluted, the working solution contains 0.002M imidazole
buffered saline with 0.02% Tween 20.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
ELISA: Compley fill each well of the microtiter plate with
diluted wash solution, then remove solution before proceeding
with the assay. Repeat 2 - 3 times. The effectiveness of the
wash may be improved by allowing the wash solution to soak
in the wells for a few minutes during the last wash.
BLOTTING: Compley cover the membrane with diluted
wash solution and wash, with gentle rocking, for 5 minutes.
Repeat 2 - 3 times removing solution after each step.
PRODUCT SAFETY AND HANDLING
This product is considered non-hazardous as defined by the
Hazard Communication Standard （29 CFR 1910.1200）.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact or
spillage, clean with copious amounts of water. Product may
be disposed via sanitary sewer.
